PRIVACY POLICY

Who We Are

Raza Bankruptcy Group (“RBG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website razabankruptcy.com (the “Site”). Raza Bankruptcy Group LLC is a Georgia limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, call us, or text with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. Your name, phone number, email address, and anything else you choose to tell us when you submit a contact form, request a free consultation, complete our intake questionnaire, call our office, or exchange text messages with us.

Information you provide during a consultation or representation. If you become a client, we collect the financial and personal information necessary to evaluate and file your case, including income, debts, assets, and household information. This information is protected by the attorney-client privilege and by our professional obligations of confidentiality.

Phone calls. Calls to our published phone numbers are answered by an automated virtual assistant that uses artificial intelligence to schedule consultations. These calls are recorded and transcribed so we can confirm your appointment details and improve the accuracy of our scheduling. If you would prefer not to speak with the automated assistant, you can request a callback from a person at any point during the call, or reach us by email at info@razabankruptcy.com. We also use call-tracking software that records the phone number you called from, the number you dialed, and the time and duration of the call.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the Site, including pages viewed, time on site, and general location at the city or region level. Standard technical information such as browser type, device type, and IP address is collected automatically by our hosting and analytics tools.

Cookies. The Site uses cookies through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to collect the usage information described above. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect how some parts of the Site function.

Text Messages (SMS)

We use text messaging in two distinct ways, and you consent to each separately.

Appointment messages. When you book a free consultation — through our website or by phone — you may provide a mobile number and consent to receive text messages about that appointment. These are reminders and confirmations only, and you can expect no more than a few messages per scheduled consultation.

Case update messages. If you retain us, you may separately consent to receive text messages about your case, such as reminders about documents we need from you, credit counseling deadlines, hearing dates, and required post-filing courses. Message frequency varies with the stage of your case and typically ranges from a few messages per month to several in a given week when a deadline is approaching.

For both types of messages, consent is not a condition of hiring us or of receiving any service. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, and you can reply HELP for assistance or contact us at info@razabankruptcy.com or 404-445-1253. Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of email or phone contact, and we will continue to reach you by other means about anything time-sensitive in your case.

We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive text messages with any third party or affiliate for their marketing purposes. Your mobile information is shared only with the messaging vendors that deliver our texts, and only for that purpose.

Text messaging is not a secure or confidential channel, and it is not the right place for detailed discussion of your case. Please do not send sensitive information — Social Security numbers, account numbers, or documents — by text.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiry, schedule and conduct your consultation, evaluate and handle your case if you retain us, communicate with you about deadlines and case events, understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it, and comply with our legal and professional obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

How We Share Your Information

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We share information with the service providers that operate our practice, and only to the extent they need it to provide their service to us. These include our website host and analytics providers, our client intake and case management platforms, our scheduling and video conferencing providers, our telephone, call-tracking, and text-messaging providers, and our electronic signature provider. If you retain us, information necessary to prepare and file your case is provided to the bankruptcy court, the assigned trustee, the United States Trustee, your creditors, and the credit counseling and debtor education providers required by law — that disclosure is an unavoidable part of filing a bankruptcy case, and we will explain it to you before anything is filed.

We may also disclose information where required by law or court order.

Your Choices

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we have about you or to request that it be deleted, at info@razabankruptcy.com or 404-445-1253. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP. You can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser opt-out tool.

Note that we are required to retain client files and case records for a period of time under our professional obligations, and we cannot delete information we are required to keep.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent changes.
